Charlene Zorn tragically lost her 15-year-old stepson Solomon to EVALI. Solomon was a loving, strong-willed child who loved football and his family. Before Solomon got sick, he was a healthy athlete who no one knew was vaping. Then one day, he got a cough. His family thought it was bronchitis, but the X-rays told a different story.
Charlene says if just one person stops vaping after hearing her story, that makes the suffering a little easier. She wants to get the message out about the dangers of vaping and she’s here to share the sad reality of losing a loved one to EVALI.
Tune in this week to discover the real dangers of vaping and the tragic consequences of EVALI. You’ll hear how a healthy 15-year-old boy picked up vaping and lost his life. His parents never smoked or vaped, but any child can pick up a vape and become hooked. My heart goes out to Charlene, and she’s sharing her story in the hopes that other families don’t need to go through the same tragedy.
